With over 14 years experience as a MUA and 12 as a hairstylist, I have developed my signature natural style of hair and makeup. In that time I’ve been fortunate to work on thousands of faces, helping all of them to bring out their natural beauty and confidence. But without doubt my career highlight was winning the Bridal category in the Face 2 Face Makeup Awards in 2018.
Even though I didn’t begin my career as a makeup artist, I’ve always had creativity in my blood. After finishing school I studied photography for a year before switching focus to acting (something I still do occasionally) and completing a Creative Arts degree. This allowed me to work as a professional theatre actor for a few years while travelling overseas. After returning to Australia I found a job in TV where I stayed for the better part of 10 years. All of this theatre and television experience has definitely played a part in helping me to become the makeup artist I am today.
I work with clients in the areas of Portraiture, Personal Branding, Bridal and Fashion. I have worked with several top photographers and stylists on branding shoots for clients ranging from Florists to Calligraphers, Accountants, Lawyers and E-Commerce. My work on campaigns and digital content has included clients such as Deco Rug, Sennheiser, Fairfax Media, Westpac, Mamamia TV, Surface Art, Publisher Textiles, Polli, IVI Organics, Love Merino, Pinstripe Media and Nimble Activewear. My editorial work has been featured in Hello May, Magnolia Rouge, Modern Wedding and Luxury Weddings, and on blogs including Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks and Wedding Sparrow.
